Tehachapi Audubon meets for the first time in 2025 at 7pm on Tuesday, January 28 at Golden Hills Elementary School.

We will celebrate Carol Gates‘ 14 years of service as leader, introduce Cindy Marble and Joan Cote as new co-leaders and have a program on water birds.

Bob Barnes, aka bird encyclopedia, is visiting from Ridgecrest and will be speaking on our topic. He will be using e-bird and other online media birding applications to supplement his program so bring your smart phones!

The following morning, Wednesday, January 29 starting at 9 am we will meet Bob at the Tom Sawyer Lake parking area and practice what we learned. We will continue on to Brite Lake depending on weather and consensus.

All are welcome. You do not need to be a member to attend. The program is free. We will have a bird-related raffle and refreshments provided.
